Our day began with a tour of NBC studios which was so much fun. We saw the set of Saturday Night Live, NBC News Room, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and learned the workings of a recording studio. We actually recorded a segment with our tour group.
We toured The Top Of The Rock and got a little damp!
We headed in the rain to St. Patrick’s Cathedral and walked in the door just as morning mass was beginning. We went in and took in the beautiful sanctuary and listened to the pipe organ.
We then were in search of Tiffany’s because no trip to New York is complete without a souvenir from Tiffany’s. We were helped by a very nice young man named Raymond and met one of his very sweet coworkers.
Back out into the rain we headed to the 911 Museum which will be detailed in a special blog. After we left the 911 Museum we were emotionally drained, tired and hungry so we made our way back to Times Square. We were disappointed about not being able to get into Carmine’s until 10:30 p.m. so we opted for a nice little Italian restaurant called Bella Vita.
We called it an early night to pack for our trip back home as we needed to be at Good Morning America at 6:15 A.M……
